Secondary School (Years 7 – 9 | Junior Secondary)

Our Junior Secondary School covers Years 7, 8, and 9, providing a strong foundation for students as they transition into secondary education. During these years, students build essential academic skills while developing confidence, responsibility, and independent learning habits.

All subjects at this stage are compulsory, ensuring that every student receives a broad and balanced education. Core learning areas include:

English Language, Mathematics, Basic Science and Technology, Social Studies, Civic Education, Computer Studies, Creative and Cultural Arts, Physical and Health Education, and selected Nigerian languages and electives.

Teaching at this stage focuses on building strong literacy and numeracy skills, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Lessons are delivered using interactive and student-centred methods that encourage participation, hands-on learning, and real-world application of knowledge.

Assessment is continuous and school-based, using classwork, projects, tests, and examinations to monitor each student’s progress. This allows teachers to provide timely support, guidance, and enrichment tailored to individual learning needs.
