Admission Requirements

Birth Certificate

Original or certified copy of student's birth certificate

Previous Records

Academic transcripts and report cards from previous school

Immunization Records

Up-to-date immunization and health records

Passport Photos

Recent passport-size photographs of the student

Parent/Guardian ID

Valid identification documents of parent or guardian

Transfer Certificate

Official transfer certificate from previous institution

Academic Calendar

The school runs the trimester system which is in line with the approved National School Academic Calendar. It usually runs from September to July annually. 

The three apportioned terms are, therefore, as follows: 

  1. First Term: September – December 
  2. Second Term: January – April. 
  3. Third Term: May – July.

Excursions

The school organizes local and international excursions for students. The local excursion trips are organized regularly based on the need during the term. However, international excursions are organized annually (once every year). These excursions are usually more educational than leisure to the students.

Admission

The Nursery/Primary Section offers admission into Play Group, Pre-Nursery and Nursery one to Basic six while the Secondary School Section offers admission into JS1, JS2, SS1 and SS2. Prospective candidates are subjected to the School Entrance Examination comprising two subjects; English and Mathematics, wherein the school determines their eligibility for admission into the class they have applied for. Such candidates must have obtained application form at a stated amount, filled and submitted alongside their credentials for consideration. 

Discount Policy

This is a policy whereby parents who have more than two (2) wards in the school are granted a discount. This policy also applies to parents who pay their ward’s school fees for a session.

School Events

  • Parent-Teacher Association Meetings: These meetings take place once in every term. It is a forum for parents, staff members and school authority to deliberate on matters and issues concerning the wellbeing of the school community and its members. 
  • Open Day: This day is set aside to enable parents to visit the school to have first hand information about their wards’ academic progress and general comportment in the school. 
  • Career Guidance Programme: This is an annual programme organized by the school in which professionals from all walks of life are brought to speak to the students and guide them on career choices. It is aimed at shaping the career ambitions of the students. 
  • Inter-House Sports: This event is organized for the student to showcase their various sporting talents. The students compete among themselves as grouped into houses shown below:
    • Ahmadu Bello House (Green) 
    • Nnamdi Azikiwe House (Red) 
    • Kwame Nkrumah House (Yellow)
    • Kofi Anan House (Blue)
  • Academic Competitions: These include competitions such as debates, quiz, and talent hunt, among others for the students every term in the academic year. This is aimed at building confidence in the students and exposing them to competitive world of academics and fostering a holistic development beyond the traditional classroom setting.
